Before your shoot

Property photography FAQs

Clear answers about what’s included, how the shoot works and when your photographs will be ready.

How quickly will I receive the photographs?

Your finished photographs will be delivered within 24 hours of the shoot, unless stated otherwise, helping you prepare and publish the listing without unnecessary delay.

How many photographs will I receive?

I don’t charge per image or restrict you to a fixed image count. Every successful photograph from the shoot is professionally selected, edited and supplied, giving you the flexibility to choose the right images for each listing and platform.

Which file sizes are included?

Your photographs will be delivered through Flickr once the final balance has been paid. From there, you can download them in multiple resolutions, including the original-quality files and smaller versions ready for websites and property portals.

How do you photograph the light and atmosphere of a home?

I work with the natural light, proportions and character of each room, adding light only where it genuinely helps. The aim is to create bright, balanced photographs that feel welcoming while remaining true to the property.

How should I prepare the property?

Please have the property clean, tidy and ready before I arrive. Decluttering surfaces, opening curtains, replacing failed bulbs and arranging soft furnishings all make a real difference. I’m happy to make small adjustments during the shoot when they improve the composition.

How long does a property shoot take?

A standard booking includes up to one hour on site, which is suitable for most homes. If a larger or more detailed property needs longer, additional time is £150 per hour and is billed in 30-minute increments.

How do booking and payment work?

Accepting a quote holds the requested date. The booking is confirmed when the 50% deposit is paid within 24 hours of the invoice and no later than 24 hours before the shoot. If the deadline has passed, confirmation remains subject to payment and renewed availability. The balance is due on the shoot date before delivery.

Are revisions included?

Yes. One round of revision edits, up to three hours of editing time, is included after delivery. More extensive retouching or further revisions are charged at £150 per hour.

Are travel and image usage included?

Travel to the property is included unless your quote says otherwise. The supplied licence covers your own website, property portals, social channels and agreed marketing; copyright remains with me. Full details are available in the photography terms and conditions.

Which types of property do you photograph?

I photograph serviced accommodation, holiday lets, estate agency listings, residential developments and individual homes across London, Kent and the South East. If your property or brief is unusual, include the details in your enquiry and I’ll confirm the best approach.
