A little history
It’s cliche but photography really does bring me so much joy, and I love brining that to my photos.
It was the typical story of given an older camera, it was the Fujifilm FinePix S602 to be precise with a whopping 3.1mp, thanks to my grandad. I remember just going around the farm and only really taking macro photos of flowers and just amazed at the detail it captured that I couldn’t see.
I obviously enjoyed it over the years and saved up enough money over birthdays and Christmas’ that I purchased my own camera the canon 500D, then moved over to the 80D which is still my primary DSLR, my absolute fav lens being the Sigma Art 18-35mm F1.8 (it really doesn’t matter about the camera, that things a decade old and still going strong.)
I’ve shot a range of things over the years, but mainly commissioned to do Event photography, had some wonderful clients like the Raspberry Pi foundation and Mozilla where I’ve taken my favourite shots of people.
Over the recent years, I’ve been traveling a lot and got myself a wonderful Leica Q3 which really is the perfect travel camera. (Definitely a splurge, but it’s such a joy to use)
But overall, I’ve got quite a wide background on what I like to shoot, and I look forward to what I can take tomorrow.
