Parties. “Client” is the person or company booking the services. “Photographer” is the service provider named on the invoice/booking form.
Booking & Payment.
A non-refundable 50% booking fee is required to secure the date.
The balance is due on the day of the shoot before delivery.
Payment methods and any VAT will be stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest.
Deliverables & Delivery.
Standard colour correction and light retouching are included.
Final photos are delivered via Flickr download once full payment is received.
Files can be downloaded in available sizes from Flickr. RAW files are not supplied.
Gallery availability period will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.
Usage Licence.
Unless stated otherwise in writing, images are supplied on a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the Client’s own use (web, social, internal, and agreed marketing).
Copyright remains with the Photographer. The Photographer may use the images for portfolio, website, social media, self-promotion, and competitions.
Exclusive rights or usage outside the above are available at additional cost and must be agreed in writing before the shoot.
Travel & Expenses.
Journey to the location is included in the price unless specifically stated otherwise in the quote.
Any additional travel, parking, permits, or venue fees pre-approved by the Client will be invoiced at cost.
Schedule & Overtime.
The service includes up to 3 hours on-site.
Additional time is £150 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments.
Revisions & Additional Editing.
One round of revision edits is included after delivery, capped at 3 hours of editing time.
Further edits are charged at £150 per hour.
Client Responsibilities.
Provide timely access, schedules, contacts, and any required permissions/permits.
Where people are identifiable, the Client warrants they have authority or consent to be photographed at the event/premises and will indemnify the Photographer against third-party claims arising from lack of consent.
Cancellations & Rescheduling.
The 50% booking fee is non-refundable if the Client cancels for any reason.
One reschedule is allowed, subject to availability, if requested with reasonable notice; the booking fee transfers to the new date.
If the Photographer must cancel, all amounts paid will be refunded in full, which is the limit of liability.
Creative Control & Limitations.
The Photographer retains creative discretion over style, selection, and editing. Specific shots are not guaranteed.
Work may be paused or stopped if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or unsuitable for equipment, with reasonable efforts to reschedule.
Data Protection.
Client details are processed only to deliver services and manage the booking.
Liability.
The Photographer’s total liability for any claim, including equipment failure or data loss, is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the affected booking.
The Photographer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Force Majeure.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control. Dates will be rearranged where possible.
Governing Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Acceptance.
By paying the booking fee or confirming the booking in writing, the Client accepts these Terms & Conditions.
